Using Document
Templates
When clicking on the link, it should open in a new
explorer window. Use the SAVE AS option and save as a DOCUMENT TEMPLATE.
This automatically saves them to the Template section of MS Office. To use
the document templates go to the File menu in MS Word and click on the New
tab, which should bring up the options. Content and formatting

names and magic items without capitalisation, unless at the start

Creature names are
not capitalised, goblin not Goblin ·

2 for Dungeon Masters Guide or DMG, italicised ·
Use Core Rulebook
3 for Monster Manual or MM, italicised ·

Do not make reference
to Feats, Skills, Classes, spells or other rules that come from any sources
other than Core Rulebooks 1 to 3. ·
Do not use the name
of specific Deities; use their title ‘God of Nature’ or ‘War God’ ·
Do not use any place
names, unless you made the name up. ·
Do not use the given
names or contractions of any WotC or any other Publishers campaign worlds,
nor reference them in any direct way. ·
Do not use any
graphics or images in your submission unless you have written permission to
use them. ·
Do not use return to
add spaces. ·
Do not use unusual or
custom fonts, stick to those available in the templates. ·
Do not alter the
colour of the text. ·
Do not alter the text
size for emphasis use italic. ·
Do not use underline
for emphasis use italic. ·
Do not use square
brackets use parentheses. ·
Do not use
contractions, such as don’t, won’t and can’t in main text. |
