COMMUNITY: 3E NEWS NOVEMBER 2000

November 26th: FYI! You may have noticed the big banner on the top of this page that says tripod. That is an unfortunate side effect of having to move my webhost to a more reliable one. You have probably alos noticed that Community: 3E had been down for over three days. That would be because of Go.com, my old web host. Thats what I get for attepting to use a free host that did not have banners or pop up ads. QUALITY and RELIABILITY was the trade off. Well, now I have more webspace, reliable service (I use tripod for a few other sites and it has always been great!), a cgi-bin and more. It is worth the trouble of moving. Thank you all for putting up with the dead links and trouble of re-bookmarking Community: 3E. All should be up and running properly now. If you happen to find any dead links or problems with the site, please e-mail me at neurozombie@visto.com. November 23rd: Today we have a utterly unique Character Sheet Created by John the Greek. It conatains artwork from the PH that highlights the various sections of the sheet. Awesome! November 21st: A new feature has been added to our Community section. It is the Ask The DM Egroup! There you will find experienced DM's who can answer your 3rd edition questions and other help for 3E DM's!. It will soon be the home of scheduled DM chats on a variety of subjects, such as world building, adventure design and tip's & trick's! November 15th: A new item from Henry Raab (AKA LiteBringer). It is a XP Award sheet that is designed to help DM's give out XP's! It is in the DM Help section! November 15th: Today I received an updated version of the Optional Experience Awards sheet created by Steve Osmond. It is in the New Rules section! November 14th: I have also added a new, much better chat room as well as 3E-Cards! November 14th: Community: 3E is now partners with the Fiction-Fantasy Network! If you have not checked out their site, now is the time! November 13th: Well met all! This is just a little anouncement to let you all know how Community: 3E is doing! Our 3E (and related sites) link section is nearing 100 links! If you know of any 3E or D20 links that are not on my list, please email me at neurozombie@visto.com. Also, we have had over 50 submissions so far! I wanted to take this oppurtunity to thank everyone who has supported Community: 3E so far and also to let everyone know that Community: 3E is in it for the long haul! November 12th: New to the Optional Rules section is a document that details an add-on system of experience point distribution. It is well thought out and very playable, IMHO. Thanks to Steve Osmond for this great submission! November 7th: I just wanted to announce the small change to Our Campaign's page. I decided on ditching the Rings of the Arcadi Idea for a campaign more in tune with the Realms' history and evil doers. (the rings will appear here in the Magic Items section soon, so stay tuned!) November 6th: I have also added four new spells, all of which were submitted on the New Spells Forum on my message board. They were all created by Aescer and are: Wall of ooze, Wall of Smoke, History, and Para-Elemental Strike. Thanks Aescer! November 6th: Today we have a new Prestige Class, The Beast Master created by Evan Miller. Thanks for another great Class Evan! November 3rd: The Avatars of Maesek, a great new prestige class created by Lord Ishamael added! The Avatars are members of the mysterious and powerful Order of Maesek, the ruling body of Mal'Dara. Thanks for another great submission! November 2nd: I have spent some time reorganizing the site a bit today. You may notice the biggest changes on the various pages with downloads. I made them all easier to read and better organized. I hope you all like this small change!

October 29th:A great character history worksheet was submitted to Community: 3E by Wondering9. I believe it is one of the most comprehensive history design lists that I have seen yet! Thanks for the submission Wondering9! This background list is located online under the DM Help section! October 29th: A new prestige class, The Holy Avenger, graces Community: 3E today! This one was sent in by Evan Miller! Thanks Evan! October 23rd: The Targeteer, a new Prestige Class by Chris Davis comes at all of you Archery fans out there! Thanks for the contribution to our little Community Chris! Be sure to check out Chris' site, RPG Archive for lots of other fun items! October 22nd: And last, but certainly not least, is a set of three DM's sheets: a Challange Rating guide, a combat chart and a treasure chart, all created by Christopher Green! Thanks a bunch Christopher! (Oh, btw, if you want your Email posted, let me know! I accidently deleted it! Sorry!) October 22nd: We have some fun stuff for all of you 3E freaks today! The first one, The Battlemage, comes from Joey Browning, who brought us the General a little while ago! A great Class for comabt mages everywhere! October 18th: The World of Taelaat, you may have noticed (although probably not since it wasn't that good), is no longer on Community: 3E. The reason being is that I am working on a much more interesting and unique world using many of the names and some of the features of the old version. The Skyrealms of Taelaat is the working title for the new version and you can watch its progress under its own forum on my message board. I will be posting ideas and concepts for the new world as I create it, and hope to receive some feedback from all of you 3E fans out there as I do. Once a particular portion of it is finished to my liking, it will be formated and posted to the site under its own heading in the FEATURES section. It will be slow going to start, as I am still working on my Forgotten Realms campaign as well, but I will work on it when I get the chance! My goal is to create a world that is very different, yet still recognizable as a D&D campaign world! October 15th: Check it out! We are now part of the new and improved 3E Ring! October 12th: A new set of Character Sheets by Lee Smith! Check them out on the Character Sheets section. Thanks for the submission Lee! October 9th: The Death Knight is BACK, thanks to Darrin Drader. A new look at an old favorite! Thank you Darrin! October 8th: More added to the Rings of the Arcadi campaign page. Reloria has added her characters history and her journal for our first game session! Just click on her name on the Rings of the Arcadi page! October 8th: Finally! I have been working on a "Campaign Chronicles" type page (with help from my wife!) in order to tell of the 3E campaign that I am currently running. Is entitled "The Rings of the Arcadi Campaign" and is located under the Features section. It includes character synopsis, my own notes on the players and the game itself and the campaign log. More will come as it gets created, such as PC backgrounds and (if I can get them to write it) player notes on the campaign. I hope you all enjoy it! October 8th: Another great new Prestige Class by Lord Ishamael can now be found in the Prestige Class section! Thanks again Ishamael! October 7th: Nightrunner's, a great new Prestige Class by Lord Ishamael can now be found in, appropriately enough, the Prestige Class section! Great Job Ishamael! October 7th: We received a great new Class today! It is the Necroscope or "Friend of the Dead" based on a character type from Brian Lumley's novel of the same name. It is located in the New Classes section and was submitted by Jon Bush, Thanks Jon! October 4th: One more announcement and I will leave you all alone for the day (unfortuntely!). I have added a new section to the links page to showcase sites that are dedicated to gaming in their respective neck of the woods. I received a request to add a link to Community: 3E from a local gaming group in Cape Cod, Mass which gave me this idea! If you have a small page that details your local 3E gaming scene send it in! October 4th: OOPS! I was so caught up in all of my computer problems the last few weeks that I totally forgot that Community: 3E is now mirrored at the Fantaseum! Check out their great site if you haven't already! Thanks to you folks at the Fantaseum for thinking my humble site worthy of being Mirrored! October 4th: Telvin has sent in a great new magic item of pure evil and you can download it on the Magic page! Thanks Telvin! October 2nd: I received some great submissions from Dr. Skull (AkA David L. Nelson Ph.D)! The first item is an adventure entitled Fort Black Sword (in the adventure section), and the other three items are sets of NPC's made to be printed as index cards for quick reference! Check out the PC's and NPC's section for those! Thanks for the Great submissions Dr.! October 2nd: ANNOUNCEMENT! Telvin of Telvin's Archive has graciously invited Community: 3E into a partnership! Please check out his page (With its great new look!) Thanks Telvin! October 1st: We received a new Prestige Class, The General! According to the author, Joey Browning, This one works best as an NPC prestige class. Check it out! October 1st: Whoo Hoo! Halloween Time! Actually every day is Halloween for me, but this monthe just brings out the best in me!

September 28th: I have added a few new links to the 3E Links section! September 28th: OOPS! Correction! I Made a typo! The great pic of a warrior battling Goblins that was posted on September 23rd was by Jay Campbell, not Cambell and was tittled KalandAr not KaelandEr. Soory Jay! September 28th: A set of Dm Sheets which includes a Combat Matrix and an AC tracker! This was submitted by Bill Tonkin! Thanks Bill! September 28th: First off, we have a great new character sheet, in Excel format, submitted by Ogre! Thanks! September 28th: Okay, Im back once more, hopefully for good! September 23rd: We received another great piece of fantasy art! This one was submitted by Jay Campbell and is tittled Kaelandar! Check it out on the Fantasy Art page! September 23rd: A great new Prestige Class from Daniel over at High Adventure! The Purple Knights Eleadria! Check out the link on the Prestige Classes page and then check out Daniels site as well! September 23rd: WERE BACK! (On a slow free internet service, but back nontheless). September 19th: A new character sheet by yours truly, the Neurozombie. It is available in .doc format and is in three parts: The main sheet - which details everything needed to run your character, all on one sheet! The Backgound sheet - which contains background stuff as well as additional equipment, notes and other such fun things and the Spellsheet, which, well.... is a place to write in your spells! September 17th: A new prestige class by Jade Lyon! It is the Diplomat, a very interesting class, especially if you want a character with great language and Knowledge skills! Thank you Jade Lyon! September 17th: Still more PDF's! Daniel (of High Adventure!)has done it again! Four more pdf versions of files submitted (or created by me) for our little community. We now have the Ischyros and the Fey D'Essaim, The 3e Flaws, and the Skill DC Compilation are now available as PDF's! Thanks again Daniel! September 16th: More PDF's! Thanks to Daniel of High Adventure!, Community: 3E now has pdf versions of the races, K'T'Lann and the Unari (Just posted earlier today) and the Arcanix Prestige class! He has graciously offered to make pdfs of a few of the other items on the site, so I will post them as he finishes them! September 16th: A new race has been added! The Unari, a curious mix of elf and unicorn whose origins are attributed to divine intervention and was created by Eric Parsons. Thanks Eric! It is located in, of course, the New Races section. September 15th: I had to create a new section to Community: 3E, a Fantasy Art section! Boy do I got a fantastic pic for all of you to view! It is a dragon drawn by Madscot and it can be found in the new Fantasy Art section! You can also view some more of his art, both comic book and sci-fi at Madscot4u! Watch for this guy, I believe he could possible be the next fantasy great! September 15th: Trouble Time Two, revisited! Thanks to Daniel at High Adventure!, my adventure, Trouble Times Two, is now in a a single .doc file (comlete with stat block to replace the 3e char gen files) and in PDF! Visit (again?) the Adventures section to view the new and improved files! September 12th: A new race, the K'T'Lann, has been added. They are a race of sea faring, tiger-like humanoids. Check them out in the new Race section! September 12th: NEW ADVENTURE! Light Bringer honored Community: 3E with a new adventure! Check it out! September 11th: One last little note. I have added a few more links to the 3E links section. I am sure everyone already has all of the WONDERFUL 3E sites bookmarked, like I do, but they are there nonetheless! September 11th: Nothing new today on the site (Boo Hoo!) but I did want to make the announcement that Rafael Arrais, the webmaster at The Inn at DnDWorld.com has linked to the Community: 3E Forum for use with his site. Thank you Raph! September 10th: I just received a great submission from Light Bringer which forces me (with arm twisted.... just kidding!) to create a new section! The submission is a 3e Character Flaw list and is under the new Optional Rules section. Thanks Henry! September 9th: Just added! Another type of Initiative tracking sheet, a little simpler than the one submitted already. Check it out under Dm Help! September 7th: The free email feature is no more. I have been using webmaster@dnd3e.zzn.com since this sites inception and it has caused me trouble since the beginning. If anyone has the webmaster addy saved, please change it to neurozombie@visto.com as I will now use my regular email address for this site. Thanks! September 6th: Finally finished with a Skill DC Compilation! It is a 3 page .doc file and can be found in the Quick Sheets section. September 6th: Also today we have a new monster in the monster section! They are the Taterdemalions. Cannibalistic Outsiders! September 6th: Two new Awards! Thank you Dark Library and The Third Tome for your Awards! September 4th: Thank you RPG Gateway for bestowing upon Community: 3E your Stellar Site Award! September 3rd: CHECK IT OUT! Do you have a 3E site? Well now there is a new Top Sites Ranking, hosted by Community: 3E (and Ultimate Top Sites). It is the Top 25 DnD 3E Sites! It is now available under Community to the left! September 2nd: New Feats have been added in the... well... New Feats section! I have added a link to Bradley's D&D Netbook of Feats and have added a few great Feats that were posted on the Submissions Forum by Wanderlust! Check them out! September 2nd: A new monster has been added, courtesy of Reloria! They are known as Fey D'Essaim or better known as Swarm Faeries. September 1st: For all of my fellow gamers who have had trouble with the Trouble Times Two adventure, I am happy to inform you that all is now well! September 1st: New to community: 3E is a new Prestige class known as the Arcanix. It is a lesser Spellfire variant and it is so good that I created a new section known as, oddly enough, Prestige Classes! September 1st: A Resource has been added. It is an Interactive Dungeon maker created by Trainz. Visit the Resources section to download it!

August 31st: I also added a list of names, put together by me. It is also in the DM Help section. August 31st: I just received another submission! (Sorry, just a little exited about getting this site going). It is an Initiative Tracking sheet in Excel format. It was created by Ron Rabaut, and is now listed under DM Help. Thanks Ron! August 31st: Two blank DM sheets have been added to the new DM Help section. A blank Monster Form and a blank PC Race creation form. Both are very simple, but helpful. August 30th: A character sheet, courtesy of Frank @ The World of Lyrlusa has been added. Thanks Frank! The First submission to Community: 3E! August 29th: A new monster, the Iscyros, added. August 28th: A new adventure for beginning 3rd level characters added. August 28th: The World of Taelaat added (Maps forthcomming)
