• Spells - Justin Germino has also created 2 new Psionic Powers (Detonate and Greater Detonate).

• Articles - The Adventurer Issue #3 is finally completed and published. Both a Word Doc and PDF version of this issue are in the articles section. The Adventurer is an online magazine with great articles and submissions from readers.
• Character Sheet / Creation Tool - This is an exceptional character sheet creater, that can be used to generate characters quickly. It includes all of the material from the Players Handbook, and comes with instructions in a nice zip pack. This fine work comes from Magnus Lund

A couple of new submissions and a link are added:

• Utilities - Justin R. Germino's generator pack has been updated!! it now includes 13 generators, including the new Combat Experience and Equipment Damage Generators, and the Random Town Stats Generator. Also the Magical Item Generator is updated to include all psionic items now! If you have not yet looked at these generators, take a look and see how much time they save.
• Classes - The Ranger Variant, a flawless post by Ted Garland that balances the 3E Ranger to make it equal to the other classes.
• Prestige Classes - Bloodshades are magic users that deal with necromancy and the undead; Sent by Cerberus.
  The Rebel is a free-spirit warrior that cannot be controlled so easily; Sent by Espen Iversen.

SITE NEWS: FEBRUARY 10th, 2001

Indeed it's truth: Our dear NeuroZombie gave up from Community3E webmaster spot, but fortunately, you may still hear from him at NeuroZombie's d20 Destination. At this site, he promises to dedicate all his free time to produce original content for all D&D 3E fans, like the World of Taelaat and the campaign logs of his current playing team.

But what happens to Community3E then? Well, glad you asked... This site now will have a new webmaster: ME! My name is Rafael Arrais, but you may know me by Raph. I have been doing D&D sites for over 4 years, and I'm also a friend of the Zombie. So, I hope you trust on me and enjoy the little modifications I will be doing on the design on the next weeks. Of course NeuroZombie will keep in touch and post his own original stuff, and you may do the same thing as well... Community3E is still open to any good D&D 3E or d20 system submissions.

If you want to have your submissions posted sooner, please consider sending it to us in popular .DOC, .PDF, .RTF, .TXT, or even better, .HTML extensions. Community3E will still be alive for a long time, I hope, and you may bet its already one of the most extensive D&D 3E archives on the web. So, that's that... Wish me luck ok? Thank you!

• Colin Chapman has sent us 2 items! First we have the Orcslayer Prestige Class, great for dwarven PC's. Second we have a new article, "Add Splendor to your Spells". You may remember that Colin had sent us a great article, "Making Melee Memorable" and "Character Style" waaaayyy back! All of his articles can be found in the articles section now (as opposed to the DM's Help section as before)

• We have an updated, more balanced version of the Elven Scout class from Jay Robinson! Both are available for you download! Jay also sent us the Drow Soldier class, a powerful class for all Drow fans.
• We have a new Insert Map for Veloss on the World of Ar'Neth by Martin Siesto (AKA Wulfgarn).

• First off we have a little Prestige class for all of you squirrel lovers out there, The Scarlet Squirrels by Brian "Bugaboo" Brus!
• We have a new class by Brendan Stern, The Scout!
• Dominique Crouzet's spell conversions has been updated!
• The Defenders of Correllon Prestige Class by Hall Greenberg makes it up today!
• A great new Magic item by Jon Halvor, the Bracelet of Lesser Geas!
• I have also added many new links to 3e and d20 websites in the last few weeks. If you haven't looked lately, you may find something that interests you!

• First off we have an article by Brista, Fists of Fury, a Guide to 3rd Edition Monks! It can be found under the new Articles Section!
• Colin has sent us a standard Half-Ogre conversion! In the monsters section.
• Dominique Crouzet, a recent poster of ideas for the Skyrealsm of Taelaat, has sent us a collection of converted spells. Thanks Dominique!
• Justin has sent us a new monster, The Obsidimen! Also we have a new map of his world, Prandia. It connects with the map already posted.
• On the setting front, we also have an Introduction to the World of Ar'Neth!

• I have decided to move the Top 25 DnD 3E Sites one last time after a lot of thought. I weighed the features of our current service with those of RPG Top Sites and RPG Top Sites won out by a landslide. The main feature that won me over though was the fact that RPG Top Sites can be set up to reset every month. I never liked the fact that Topsites (the old host) could not be configured to do that. New sites to the Top 25 would never be able to make headway under the old service. Powerhouses like Eric Noah's site and 3rd Edition.com would always be at the top. Odds are they still will be, but everyone willnow have a chance at it!

• Two New monsters from Colin Chapman, the Spriggan and a doc with a couple of half-Ogres!
• With a few submissions from Daniel Langdon, I am opening up a section of files for those who speak and read Spanish! Daniel did send us one file in english, however, a new character sheet!
• We have a new class by Jay Robinson, and Elven Scout!
• Finally, we have another submission for the World of Ar'Neth, Arms and Armor! This file is usuable for any world!
• In community news, RPG Host has installed a new game: Promisance. A free multi-player interactive web based game with a unique combination of fantasy and sci-fi played with real people from around the world in an epic struggle between the past, present and future for the mastery of all people and all time!

  "We are working on a set format for submissions and no classes will be turned down. We will check for balance and fairness, and will work with them for compatability. We want to be the #1 source for prestige classes. It will be free access and hope to be the defining book of classes."

• "There is a movement afoot..."
  
  
  With so many great websites and so much wonderful player created material available for 3rd Edition, the folks from Community3E, the crew of DnDWorld, the creator of the Netbook of Feats, and several other sites from around the internet are joining together to form an organization known as the "D&D Community Council" (CC). The Community Council is a community of role players dedicated to building upon the foundation of the Dungeons & Dragons 3rd edition game and D20 system created by Wizards of the Coast. The purpose of the community council is to provide a clear, common, coordinated objective to a team of hard working role-players and have them build a package of material to cover a specific topic. We take volunteers willing to lead community projects, build project review boards, collect ideas on a specific subject from the D&D community, and combine those ideas into a Netbook document to be freely distributed anywhere on the internet.
  
  By appointing a volunteer project leader to organize the effort, building a focus group of 2-7 review board members, developing a vision for the project, following a set process methodology, collecting information from around the web, analyzing the submissions of others, creating continuity within the project, publishing these projects in one easy to use format, providing monthly or quarterly updates, and offering unlimited distribution, we can consolidate the many materials created by the D&D community into a series of related publications and make these publications freely available for download or distribution.
